Canonical is pleased to announce that Ubuntu and Ubuntu Pro support the newly-launched Microsoft Azure Cobalt 100 VMs. Over 95% of packages in the Ubuntu archive also work on Arm, making it the perfect choice to leverage these powerful and high-performance cloud environments for a wide array of applications. Ubuntu Pro extends Ubuntu with additional security coverage, letting you use that expanded range of packages while still meeting your security and compliance requirements.
