As I am happy with the available version of Krita in my Ubuntu 20.04 LTS repositories. I will install it via the command line with the standard command. Here is how you will do it.

$ sudo apt install krita

Step 3. Access Krita

Krita can be accessed via both command-line and system dashboards. Accessing it from the system dashboard is a natural choice. You will need to type a few letters as shown below or simply locate Krita in the graphics folder.

Click the Krita icon and it will be launched. To run Krita smoothly, you will need at least 4 GB of RAM on your system. Krita is not for systems that run on fewer resources. Here is how the splash screen will look as soon as Krita starts.
